File Viewer Settings

The file viewer attributes are configured using the File Viewer Settings screen.

The following options are available:

Content

Customize the content options and determine how other elements appear in the file viewer widget.

1TypeWhen you have stored your files in an external location with the file URLs stored in Salesforce records, you can specify the type of document that can be viewed using the File Viewer element.
2Static FileUse this option to show a static file to your end users.

Interactivity

Customize the interactivity options and determine how your user can interact with the file viewer widget.

1Hide onloadUse the Hide Onload option to hide specific elements on load to control what the user sees. It allows you to hide an element when the page is loaded.
2Allow PrintYou can add the print option to File Viewer elements. This allows users to print documents, images, spreadsheets, PDFs, and zoom PDF documents.
3Allow DownloadYou can add the download option to File Viewer elements. This allows users to download documents, images, spreadsheets, PDFs, and zoom PDF documents.
4Allow RotateThis option allows users to rotate an uploaded image before dispatch.
5Allow Zoom (for PDF)You can add the zoom option to File Viewer elements. This allows users to use the zoom functionality on PDF documents.

Messages

Messages – Specify the messages on the File Viewer element. These messages will be shown in the following situations: when the file is empty, when no file type was provided, when the file type is not supported, and when a file is not supported.

Conditions

Configure Conditions – Determine what will happen when your user interacts with this element.

Salesforce

Configure Integrations – Integrate data from Salesforce.

Animation

Animation – This option allows you to add visual interest to your screen. Create the illusion of movement when the element shows on the screen. You can set the duration and delay to control the movement and preview by default.

Metadata

Metadata – See how this element is identified in the backend, such as its purpose, content, or function. Your users won’t see this.
