  • Titan lets you add hidden fields in documents with dynamic data from Salesforce or Titan Web projects directly in Microsoft Word.
  • Hidden fields are designed to be used with conditional logic based on a Salesforce field or record without showing the field in the document.

Note:

Prerequisites:

  1. Make sure that you have installed the Word add-in.
  2. Sign in to use the Titan Word add-in.
  1. Open Microsoft Word. The Form Titan tab is added to the Word toolbar if you have installed it successfully.
  2. Select the Manage hidden fields button. The Manage hidden fields screen opens.

  1. Select the Add field button.

  1. Type a name in the Name field. This is mandatory.
  2. Use the drop-down list to select an option:

Select Static:

  1. Type the value in the Value field.

  1. Select the Save button.

Select Web:

  1. Use the drop-down list to select the project.
  2. Use the drop-down list to select page.
  3. Use the drop-down list to select the field.
  1. Select the Save button.

Select Dynamic:

  1. Use the drop-down list to select the object, for instance, Account. This is mandatory.
  2. Type a comment in the Comment field. This is mandatory.
  3. Use the drop-down list to select the field, for instance, Account Number. This is mandatory.

  1. Select the Save button.

Use the hidden field in any conditional logic or to filter any Gets on the document.
