Sort By

Business Background

The Sort By option is available for the Power Table element. Use this option to sort items according to type.

How to Guide

1. Click the Power Table element settings Gear icon. The Power Table Settings screen opens.
2. Select the Column option.
3. Click the Gear icon of the column that you want to sort by. The Column Settings screen opens.
   • In this example, column 3 will be sorted.

4. Click the Sort By checkbox to sort items according to type.

5. Save and Preview the project. Column 3 of the power table now has a Toggle Sort By icon.

When the Toggle Sort By icon is clicked, the contents in the column are sorted alphabetically.
