The Filter By option is available for the Power Table element. Use this option to filter items using the search function.

How to Guide

  1. Configure a power table.
  2. Click the Power Table element settings Gear icon. The Power Table Settings screen opens.
  3. Select the Column option.
  4. Click the Column Gear icon of the column that you want to hide or show. The Column Settings screen opens.
    • In this example, column 3 will be filtered.

  1. Click the Filter By checkbox to filter items. The Gear icon becomes enabled.
  2. Click the Filter by Gear icon to configure the filter. The Configure filter screen opens.
  1. Make sure that the Allow Filter checkbox is enabled.
Note:

The options in the Filter method drop-down list changes according to the option selected in the UI Control drop-down list.

  1. Select an option from the UI Control drop-down list and then select an option from the Filter method drop-down list:
    • Text Field
      • Contains
      • Equals
    • Slider
      • Greater than
      • Less than
    • Number Range
      • Between
    • Date Range
      • Between Date
  2. Type a filter placeholder in the field if necessary. What does this do?

Note:

For the Select UI Control option, the screen changes.

  1. Use the Sort drop-down list to select an option:
    • No Sort
    • Descending
    • Ascending
  2. Use the Filter method drop-down list to select an option:
    • Contains
    • Equals

  1. Click the Apply button.
  2. Save and Preview the project.
  3. Type in the search field to filter the column according to your criteria.
