The Filter By option is available for the Power Table element. Use this option to filter items using the search function.

How to Guide
- Configure a power table.
- Click the Power Table element settings Gear icon. The Power Table Settings screen opens.
- Select the Column option.
- Click the Column Gear icon of the column that you want to hide or show. The Column Settings screen opens.
- In this example, column 3 will be filtered.
- Click the Filter By checkbox to filter items. The Gear icon becomes enabled.
- Click the Filter by Gear icon to configure the filter. The Configure filter screen opens.
- Make sure that the Allow Filter checkbox is enabled.
The options in the Filter method drop-down list changes according to the option selected in the UI Control drop-down list.
- Select an option from the UI Control drop-down list and then select an option from the Filter method drop-down list:
- Text Field
- Contains
- Equals
- Slider
- Greater than
- Less than
- Number Range
- Between
- Date Range
- Between Date
- Text Field
- Type a filter placeholder in the field if necessary. What does this do?
For the Select UI Control option, the screen changes.
- Use the Sort drop-down list to select an option:
- No Sort
- Descending
- Ascending
- Use the Filter method drop-down list to select an option:
- Contains
- Equals
- Click the Apply button.
- Save and Preview the project.
- Type in the search field to filter the column according to your criteria.
