Document Settings

Business Background

Use the Titan add-in for Microsoft Word to create documents without having access to Salesforce. You can create documents that can update Salesforce objects without logging in to Titan or Salesforce.

Titan Solution

Titan lets you add specified document settings:

Add digital signatures
Attach the document to the Salesforce record
Add 2-factor authentication (recommended)
Allow collaborators to add other collaborators
Changes on email

How to Guide

On the Start CLM Process screen, do the following:

Add signers
- Add external recipients
- Add signers from Salesforce
Configure the document
Add document settings
Review and send the document

Use this screen to enable the following:
- Digital signatures
- Attach to Record
- 2-factor authentication (recommended)
- Allow collaborators to add other collaborators
- Changes on the email
Use this screen to select one of the following:
- Start Sign Process
- Finish Process

Note:

Digital signatures: if this option is enabled, the document will have end-to-end encryption and will be locked so that it cannot be edited.
Attach to record: if this option is enabled, the document will automatically be attached to the Salesforce record under Files.
2-factor authentication (recommended): if this option is enabled, 2-factor authentication will be required before an owner, collaborator, or signer can open a document. Recipients will receive an email that directs them to a screen where they will type their email address. They will then receive an email with a time code that is only valid once before they can access the document.

Allow collaborators to add other collaborators: if this option is enabled, a collaborator can add other collaborators.
Changes on email: if this option is enabled, a collaborator or owner of the document will be able to see a summary of the changes made on the document in the email they receive after the changes were made.
