Business Background
Use the Titan add-in for Microsoft Word to create documents without having access to Salesforce. You can create documents that can update Salesforce objects without logging in to Titan or Salesforce.
Titan Solution
Titan lets you add elements to the document. These elements can be pushed to Salesforce.
How to Guide
On the Start Sign Process screen, do the following:
- Add signers
- Configure the document
- Add document settings
- Review and send the document
Note:
Each signer is assigned a color. This color code is used when configuring the document contents.
- Use the Choose Signer drop-down arrow to open the drop-down list. The configured signers, each with their color code, are shown.
Note:
Only signers are shown. Reviewers and CC recipients are not in this list as they cannot interact with the document.
- Click a signer to select it. The first signer is shown by default.
- Click the Show More drop-down arrow to show all the elements you can use to configure the document. The following options are available:
- Text Field
- Text Area
- Email Field
- Number Field
- Time Field
- Date Field
- Date Time Field
- Signature
- Signature Date
- Label
- Checkbox
- Click-and-drag elements to the blank canvas. The elements are color-coded, corresponding to the color of the signer.
- Do this until you have all the elements for each signer. You can place the elements anywhere on the canvas.
- Click an element to open the settings Gear icon.
- Click the Gear icon. You can set the following:
- General
- Location
- Size
- Style
- Click the Next button. The Document Settings step opens.
